Turkish Sun-Dried Tomato & Cheese Pastry
A savory pastry where CEREN Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil are paired with cheese inside crisp phyllo.
Ingredients
- 8 sheets phyllo dough
- ½ cup CEREN Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil, chopped
- 200 g feta cheese (or white cheese), crumbled
- ½ cup grated kashkaval or mozzarella
- 2 tablespoons parsley, chopped
- ¼ cup olive oil or melted butter
Instructions
Prepare filling: Mix feta, kashkaval, parsley, and chopped CEREN Sun-Dried Tomatoes in Oil.
Assemble Pastry: Lay one sheet of phyllo, brush with oil/butter, place another on top. Add filling along the edge and roll tightly. Shape into spirals or long rolls.
Bake: Place on a tray, brush with oil, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden and crisp.
Serve: Enjoy hot with tea or as part of a meze spread.
