Sweet Vermicelli Pudding
Ingredients
- 1 cup CEREN Roasted Vermicelli
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cups milk
- ½ cup sugar (adjust to taste)
- ½ teaspoon ground cardamom or cinnamon
- ¼ cup raisins
- ¼ cup chopped pistachios or almonds
- A few drops of rose water (optional)
Instructions
Fry vermicelli: In a saucepan, melt butter. Add CEREN Roasted Vermicelli and stir until aromatic.
Cook in milk: Slowly pour in milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps. Simmer gently until vermicelli softens.
Sweeten: Stir in sugar, cardamom, raisins, and rose water (if using). Cook until slightly thickened but still creamy.
Serve: Ladle into bowls, garnish with pistachios or almonds. Serve warm for comfort or chilled for a refreshing dessert.
