Spicy Ajvar Beef Burgers
A street-food fusion where CEREN Spicy Ajvar replaces ketchup or BBQ sauce for smoky heat.
Ingredients
- 500 g ground beef (80/20 fat ratio)
- 2 tablespoons CEREN Spicy Ajvar (plus extra for serving)
- 1 onion, grated
- 1 garlic clove, minced
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 4 burger buns
- 4 slices cheddar or kasar cheese
- Lettuce, tomato, and pickles for garnish
Instructions
Prepare patties: Mix ground beef, onion, garlic, cumin, salt, pepper, and CEREN Spicy Ajvar. Form into 4 patties.
Cook: Grill or pan-fry until cooked to your liking. Add cheese in the last minute to melt.
Assemble: Toast buns, spread with more CEREN Spicy Ajvar, add patty, lettuce, tomato, and pickles.
