Lombardi Pepper Pickle & Cheese Pita
A Turkish flatbread topped with cheese and CEREN Lombardi Pepper Pickles for a tangy kick.
Ingredients
- 500 g pizza or pide dough
- 1 cup mozzarella (or kasar cheese), shredded
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup CEREN Lombardi Pepper Pickles, sliced
- 1 egg (optional, for topping)
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
Prepare dough: Roll out dough into oval shapes. Place on a baking tray.
Add toppings: Spread mozzarella and feta cheese over dough. Arrange CEREN Lombardi Pepper Pickles on top.
Optional: Crack an egg in the center for extra richness.
Bake: Bake at 200°C (400°F) for 12–15 minutes until golden and crisp. Brush crust with olive oil.
Serve: Slice and enjoy hot — a delicious twist on classic pide.
