Halva-Stuffed Phyllo Rolls
Crispy phyllo pastry filled with CEREN Plain Halva Triangles and nuts, baked until golden.
Ingredients
- 6 sheets phyllo dough
- 4 CEREN Plain Halva Triangles (crumbled)
- ¼ cup walnuts or pistachios, chopped
- 3 tablespoons melted butter or CEREN Canola Oil
- 2 tablespoons honey (for drizzling)
Instructions
Prepare filling: Mix crumbled halva with chopped nuts.
Fill rolls: Place 1 phyllo sheet on a surface, brush lightly with butter. Add another sheet on top. Place halva-nut mixture along one edge, roll tightly into a log. Cut into smaller rolls.
Bake: Arrange rolls on a greased tray, brush tops with butter, and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20–25 minutes until golden.
Serve: Drizzle with honey before serving warm.
