Crispy Pan-Seared Salmon with Garlic-Canola Glaze
A modern main dish where CEREN Canola Oil ensures perfect crispiness on salmon.
Ingredients
- 2 salmon fillets (skin-on)
- 2 tablespoons CEREN Canola Oil
- 2 cloves garlic, thinly sliced
- Juice of ½ lemon
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon honey
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
Prepare salmon: Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.
Sear: Heat CEREN Canola Oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Place salmon skin-side down, cook undisturbed for 5–6 minutes until skin is crispy. Flip and cook the other side for 3–4 minutes. Transfer to a plate.
Make glaze: In the same pan, add garlic slices and sauté until golden. Stir in lemon juice, soy sauce, and honey. Cook for 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.
Serve: Pour glaze over salmon fillets. Serve hot with steamed vegetables or bulgur pilaf.
