Bulgur Pilaf with Chicken and Vegetables
A complete one-pot meal with CEREN Bulgur for Pilaf, chicken, and seasonal vegetables.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups CEREN Bulgur for Pilaf
- 250 g chicken breast, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 carrot, diced
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 1 tomato, diced
- 2 tablespoons CEREN Tomato Paste
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook chicken: Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté diced chicken until golden. Remove and set aside.
Cook vegetables: In the same pot, sauté onion, carrot, and green pepper. Add diced tomato and CEREN Tomato Paste. Cook for 3–4 minutes.
Add bulgur and chicken: Stir in bulgur, thyme, salt, pepper, and cooked chicken. Mix well.
Simmer: Add hot chicken broth. Stir once, cover, and simmer on low heat for 20–25 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Serve: Rest for 10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
