Apple Cider Vinegar & Honey Glazed Salmon with Bulgur Pilaf
A modern, light dish where CEREN Apple Cider Vinegar is used in both the marinade and the glaze for brightness.
Ingredients
- 4 salmon fillets
- 3 tablespoons CEREN Apple Cider Vinegar
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, grated
- 1 teaspoon fresh ginger, grated
- Salt and pepper, to taste
For the bulgur pilaf:
- 1 cup CEREN Bulgur for Pilaf
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 green pepper, diced
- 2 tomatoes, grated or finely chopped
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Instructions
Marinate salmon: Mix vinegar, honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger. Coat salmon fillets and let marinate 20 minutes.
Cook pilaf: In a saucepan, sauté onion and pepper in olive oil until softened. Stir in tomatoes, then bulgur. Add broth, season, cover, and simmer until fluffy (15–18 minutes).
Cook salmon: Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear salmon fillets skin-side down for 3–4 minutes, then flip. Pour in marinade and cook another 2–3 minutes until salmon is glazed and cooked through.
Serve: Place salmon over bulgur pilaf, spoon extra glaze on top.
