Ajvar Pasta with Feta
A modern Mediterranean-inspired pasta where CEREN Ajvar is used as a quick, smoky sauce.
Ingredients
- 300 g penne pasta
- 4 tablespoons CEREN Ajvar
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- ½ cup cream (optional, for a richer sauce)
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- ½ cup feta cheese, crumbled
- Fresh basil for garnish
Instructions
Cook pasta: Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water.
Make sauce: In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic briefly. Stir in CEREN Ajvar, cream (if using), chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Combine: Toss drained pasta into the sauce. Add a splash of pasta water to loosen if needed.
Finish: Sprinkle with crumbled feta and fresh basil.
Serve: A smoky, tangy, and satisfying pasta dish ready in 20 minutes.
