Spanish Flatbread with Grilled Olives, Manchego & Chorizo
Inspiration: Spanish tapas culture loves smoky, salty flavors layered on breads. Here, CEREN Grilled Olives bring depth to a rustic flatbread.
Ingredients
- 1 flatbread or pizza base
- ½ cup CEREN Grilled Olives, sliced
- 100 g Manchego cheese, shredded
- 50 g Spanish chorizo, thinly sliced (or spicy beef sausage)
- 1 roasted red pepper, sliced (CEREN Roasted Red Peppers work perfectly)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Fresh thyme leaves
Instructions
Prepare base: Brush flatbread with olive oil.
Layer toppings: Add Manchego cheese, chorizo slices, roasted peppers, and CEREN Grilled Olives. Sprinkle thyme.
Bake: At 220°C (425°F) for 10–12 minutes until cheese melts and edges crisp.
Serve: Cut into squares for tapas-style sharing.
