Spanish Patatas Bravas with Caper Berry Aioli
Inspiration: A tapas-bar classic, patatas bravas are usually served with aioli and a spicy tomato sauce. Here, CEREN Caper Berries turn the aioli into something briny, lively, and more complex.
Ingredients
- 4 medium potatoes, peeled & cubed
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili powder
- Salt, to taste
- For Caper Berry Aioli:
- ½ cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons CEREN Caper Berries, finely chopped
- 1 garlic clove, grated
- 1 tablespoon CEREN Lemon Juice
- Freshly ground black pepper
Instructions
Roast potatoes: Toss cubed potatoes with olive oil, paprika, chili powder, and salt. Roast at 220°C (425°F) for 30–35 minutes until golden and crisp.
Prepare aioli: Mix mayonnaise, garlic, lemon juice, and chopped CEREN Caper Berries. This transforms the aioli with a burst of tangy brininess.
Serve: Arrange potatoes on a plate, drizzle with aioli, and (optionally) add a spoon of tomato sauce.
👉 The result is a tapas favorite with a twist, where the caper berries cut through the richness of potatoes and mayonnaise.
