Spinach & Feta Borek Rolls
Ingredients
- 12 sheets CEREN Baklavalık Yufka
- 300 g spinach, blanched and chopped
- 150 g feta cheese, crumbled
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 egg, beaten (for brushing)
- 1 teaspoon black sesame seeds
Instructions
Prepare filling: Heat olive oil, sauté onion until soft. Add spinach, cook until moisture evaporates. Mix with feta cheese.
Assemble rolls: Place 1 sheet of yufka on a flat surface. Brush lightly with oil, fold in half. Add a spoonful of filling along the edge, roll tightly into a cigar shape. Repeat with remaining sheets.
Bake: Arrange rolls on a tray, brush with egg wash, sprinkle sesame seeds. Bake at 180°C (350°F) for 25–30 minutes until golden.
Serve: As a savory snack, breakfast item, or meze with ayran.
