Sambal Oelek Ramen with Soft-Boiled Egg
A warming noodle soup where CEREN Sambal Oelek creates a bold, spicy broth.
Ingredients
- 4 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- 2 tablespoons CEREN Sambal Oelek
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon miso paste
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 packs ramen noodles
- 2 soft-boiled eggs
- ½ cup bok choy, halved
- ½ cup mushrooms, sliced
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- Green onions for garnish
Instructions
Build broth: In a pot, heat sesame oil. Sauté garlic and ginger. Add broth, soy sauce, miso paste, and CEREN Sambal Oelek. Simmer 10 minutes.
Cook noodles & veggies: Add noodles, bok choy, and mushrooms. Cook until noodles are tender.
Assemble: Divide noodles and broth into bowls. Top each with a soft-boiled egg and green onions.
Serve: Spicy, umami-rich ramen ready in under 30 minutes.
