Classic Lemon Bars
A sweet treat where CEREN Lemon Juice gives the filling a perfect tangy balance.
Ingredients
For the crust:
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ cup sugar
- For the filling:
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons CEREN Lemon Juice
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- Zest of 1 lemon
Instructions
Make crust: Mix flour, butter, and sugar. Press into a greased baking dish. Bake at 175°C (350°F) for 15 minutes.
Prepare filling: Whisk eggs, sugar, CEREN Lemon Juice, flour, and zest until smooth.
Bake: Pour filling over crust and bake 20–25 minutes until set.
Cool & cut: Let cool completely before slicing into bars. Dust with powdered sugar if desired.
