Sweet & Salty Sunflower Seed Brittle
A modern sweet-salty dessert bar with CEREN Classic Extra Salty Roasted Seeds.
Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- ½ cup water
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup CEREN Classic Extra Salty Roasted Seeds (shelled)
Instructions
Make caramel: In a saucepan, heat sugar and water until golden amber. Do not stir — swirl pan gently.
Add flavor: Remove from heat, stir in butter and vanilla.
Add seeds: Quickly mix in CEREN Classic Extra Salty Roasted Seeds.
Spread: Pour onto parchment paper, spreading thin with a spatula.
Cool & break: Let harden, then break into shards.
Serve: Perfect as a snack or crunchy topping for ice cream.
