Spanish-Style Beans with Chorizo
Inspired by Spanish stews, this dish combines CEREN Beans in Tomato Sauce with smoky sausage and spices.
Ingredients
- 1 jar CEREN Beans in Tomato Sauce
- 150 g chorizo sausage, sliced
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- ½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional)
- ½ cup chicken broth
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
Sauté sausage: In a skillet, heat olive oil. Add chorizo slices and cook until golden, releasing oils. Remove and set aside.
Cook base: In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic. Stir in smoked paprika and chili flakes.
Add beans: Mix in CEREN Beans in Tomato Sauce and chicken broth. Simmer for 15 minutes.
Finish: Add back chorizo, cook 5 minutes more.
Serve: Garnish with parsley and serve with crusty bread.
