Turkish Hummus with Olive Oil Drizzle
A creamy, authentic dip made with CEREN Canned Chickpeas, tahini, and lemon juice.
Ingredients
- 2 cups CEREN Canned Chickpeas (drained and rinsed)
- 2 tablespoons tahini
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ cup cold water (adjust for texture)
For garnish:
- Olive oil
- Paprika
- Fresh parsley
Instructions
Blend base: In a food processor, combine CEREN Canned Chickpeas, tahini, lemon juice, garlic, cumin, and salt.
Add oil & water: With the machine running, slowly drizzle in olive oil and cold water until smooth and creamy.
Adjust: Taste and adjust seasoning with more lemon or salt if needed.
Serve: Transfer to a bowl, drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with paprika and parsley. Serve with warm pita bread or fresh vegetables.
