Sefer Kitel Bulgur & Herb Pilaf (with Fresh Dill and Mint)
A fragrant pilaf made with CEREN Sefer Kitel Bulgur, olive oil, and lots of fresh herbs — perfect as a spring dish.
Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups CEREN Sefer Kitel Bulgur
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups vegetable broth
- ½ bunch fresh dill, chopped
- ½ bunch parsley, chopped
- ¼ bunch fresh mint, chopped
- Juice of ½ lemon
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
Instructions
Cook the base: Heat olive oil, sauté onion until golden.
Add bulgur: Stir in CEREN Sefer Kitel Bulgur, toast for 2 minutes.
Simmer: Add broth, season with salt and pepper, cover, and cook for 18–20 minutes until liquid is absorbed.
Finish with herbs: Remove from heat, stir in dill, parsley, mint, and lemon juice. Rest 10 minutes before serving.
Serve: Light and refreshing, this pilaf pairs beautifully with grilled fish or chicken.
