Pistachio Halva Triangle Parfaits
A rich and elegant dessert featuring CEREN Pistachio Halva Triangles, layered with creamy yogurt and fresh fruit. A perfect balance of sweetness and freshness.
Ingredients
- 6 CEREN Pistachio Halva Triangles
- 1 cup thick yogurt (or Greek yogurt)
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, or raspberries)
- 2 tablespoons crushed pistachios (for garnish)
- Fresh mint leaves (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
Prepare the cream layer: In a bowl, whisk the thick yogurt with honey and vanilla extract until smooth and slightly sweetened. Adjust the sweetness to your taste.
Chop the halva: Roughly chop the CEREN Pistachio Halva Triangles into bite-sized pieces. The chunks will add texture and nutty sweetness to the parfait.
Layer the parfait: In serving glasses, start with a spoonful of yogurt mixture at the bottom. Add a layer of chopped halva, followed by a few fresh berries. Repeat the layers until the glass is filled, finishing with a yogurt layer on top.
Garnish: Sprinkle crushed pistachios over the top layer and add fresh mint leaves for color and aroma.
Chill and serve: Place the parfaits in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. Serve chilled for the best flavor and texture.
