Halva Sandwich Biscuit Dessert
A delightful no-bake treat made with CEREN Halva Sandwich Biscuits, layered with creamy filling and topped with chocolate. Perfect for tea time or as an elegant dessert.
Ingredients
- 12 CEREN Halva Sandwich Biscuits
- 200 g cream cheese (room temperature)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 100 ml heavy cream (whipped)
- 100 g dark chocolate (melted)
- Crushed pistachios or walnuts for garnish
Instructions
Prepare the filling: In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese with powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Add vanilla extract and fold in the whipped cream gently with a spatula. The mixture should be light and fluffy.
Assemble the sandwiches: Take one CEREN Halva Sandwich Biscuit and spread a generous spoonful of the cream mixture on the flat side. Place another biscuit on top to form a sandwich. Repeat until all biscuits are used.
Chill for firmness: Arrange the biscuit sandwiches on a tray lined with parchment paper. Place them in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour so the filling can set.
Coat with chocolate: Dip half of each chilled sandwich into the melted dark chocolate, letting excess drip off. Lay them back on the tray.
Garnish and serve: While the chocolate is still soft, sprinkle with crushed pistachios or walnuts. Refrigerate again for 15 minutes until the chocolate hardens. Serve chilled as an indulgent dessert.
